Zeolite Clinoptilolite can be used as high-efficiency strong cement additives, a substitute for cement. It can replace 110% of traditional cement at 10% weight replacement, and 100% of traditional cement at 15% weight replacement, while increasing the strength of concrete.

In addition, zeolite is also used as a stabilizer, the fluidity of the mixture is reduced after addition, the handling is improved, and the hydration temperature of the concrete is safer. Its presence in the mix also increases its sealing properties. Zeolite Clinoptilolite in concrete help improve sulfate resistance and eliminate sulfate corrosion.

WOW! Strong Cement Additives

When examining the properties of concrete treated with natural zeolites, it was shown that replacing up to 10% of cement with natural zeolites increased the concrete’s compressive strength by 15%, reduced water absorption by a factor of 2.3, and increased the density and speed of ultrasonic pulses. With Replacing up to 10% of cement with natural zeolites increases closed porosity, thereby improving the freeze-thaw resistance of concrete. Predicted freeze-thaw resistance calculations showed that the concrete resistance was 3.3 times higher.

By using zeolite clinoptilolite, up to 20% by weight of part of the cement batch can be effectively replaced, the benefits of its use are as follows: reduced production costs; reduced CO2 emissions; improved stability of the mixture, increased strength; Energy intensity of concrete production; improved mechanical properties and durability; increased sulfate resistance to eliminate sulfate corrosion; improved impermeability.
